Crafty Balboa Craft Fair and Flavors of The Avenue

East Passyunk, one of the city’s hottest restaurant rows, toots its own gastronomic horn during Flavors of the Avenue, an afternoon foodie affair slated for Sunday, April 26.

Unfortunately, the in-demand event sells out every year, including this year, but the South Philly neighborhood still welcomes the masses for an afternoon of happy hour deals, shopping discounts and the annual Crafty Balboa craft show and sale.

So, no need to worry if you don’t have tickets to Flavors of the Avenue.

Outside of the Flavors of the Avenue tent, find a full-blown street fair complete with live music, vendors and the Crafty Balboa craft fair. Look forward to items from 40 vendors at the well-loved craft show. The street fair is slated to run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In addition to the alfresco street fair and Flavors of the Avenue food festival, a number of shops and restaurants are celebrating the action-packed day with special happy hours and shopping sales.

Visit Cantina los Caballitos for $6 Hornitos Margaritas and $5 Sam Adams Rebel IPA from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., Pollyodd for complimentary limoncello and mojito samples, Knack Philadelphia for a 15 percent off sale and much more.  Saturday plans, check!
