May 4th:  Save the Date – South St. Headhouse Spring Festival

On Saturday, May 4th, the South Street Headhouse District will host its first ever Spring Festival.  All ages are welcome in celebrating the beginning of the festival season with the best tastes, sounds, and sights that the District has to offer. The event is free and will run from noon to 8pm.

Over 20 area restaurants and bars will be serving up a full complement of food and drink, featuring the tastes of cuisine from around the world.  Brauhaus Schmitz will host its Maifest celebration. Tickets at an additional cost are needed for VIP access to this event.

The festival will be filled with dancing, music, and entertainment. The main stage at 5th and South will feature local acts. The sounds of rock and blues will be programmed by the Legendary Dobbs and Twisted Tail music venues as well as at participating bars and restaurants.

There will be a Kids Zone filled with fun and engaging activities for the children. Local retailers and artists will be there to showcase their products, services, arts & crafts.

When: Saturday, May 4, noon-8 p.m.
Where: South Street Headhouse District (South Street between 2nd and 8th and on the 2nd Street Plaza between South and Lombard)
