Our Favorite Shore Towns

As summer approaches, there’s nothing quite like the feeling of sand between your toes, the sound of waves crashing, and the salty ocean air. Our team members wanted to recommend their favorite shore towns and what makes these beaches so special to get you excited for the upcoming summer vacations. Whether you’re planning your next beach vacation or looking for a beach home, we’ve got you covered!

Lauren Pilla loves any beach where she can bring her dog! Her perfect day involves a run at Longport Dog Beach, followed by a stop at the Ocean City, NJ boardwalk for a Kohr Bros orange vanilla twist and a slice of Manco & Manco pizza. Another favorite dog-friendly spot is Island Beach State Park, packing a picnic of hoagies in the sun. If your dog is a water lover, she suggests renting a boat at Whale Creek Marina in Strathmere and floating out to the sandbar.

Madison Cunningham is a lover of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. During the season you can find her enjoying happy hour at Fins, grabbing dinner at Salt Air, and finishing off the night with drinks at Agave (ordering a margarita of course!). In the heat of the sun, you can find Madison enjoying a scoop (or two) of ice cream at The Ice Cream Shop, or enjoying a delicious slice of Grotto’s pizza! If you’re looking for a fun night out in Rehoboth, Madison suggests heading to Purple Parrot on a Friday night to take part in their karaoke night!

Christine Bonanno can be found on the scenic shores of Stone Harbor and Avalon during the summer months. Her ideal weekend would be staying on the beach until 5, enjoying dinner at the Reeds during sunset, followed by drinks at the Windrift and having something sweet from Fudge Kitchen or Kohr Brothers. Then it is up early Sunday morning to have bacon on a stick at the Stone Harbor Farmers Market, and shopping in town.

Jonathan Barach’s ideal Avalon weekend is Getting to the beach by 9:00 on 30th Street, hanging out on the beach all day, and listening to the Phillies win on the radio. He would order lunch from Primos Hoagies, followed by a no shower, happy hour at the Whitebriar. Later in the evening, Jonathan would meet friends at Princeton where they would end the weekend at Circle Pizza and Avalon Freeze, with a round of mini golf in between.

Whether you’re looking to buy here in the city, or the New Jersey Shore, our team has all of your real estate needs covered!
