The Squares… Washington and Headhouse that is

What are they?
We can all thank William Penn for Washington Square with his original Philadelphia layout. Its proximity to Independence Hall, the Independence Visitor Center, and The Liberty Bell make it the perfect place to enjoy American History while relaxing on the lawn with a picnic or taking a weekend stroll.
Headhouse Square maintains all of its 18th and 19th century charm with its cobblestone streets and buildings. Not only that, but it’s home to the Headhouse Square Farmer’s Market, which is the oldest market in all of Philadelphia. Stop by for fresh produce from over 25 farmers and producers every Sunday from May until December.
Coolness Rating: 4.5/5 – It’s refreshing to take a step back into history.
