TreePhilly is back in it’s 2nd Year Giving Away Free Trees to Residents

Last years first ever TreePhilly program was such a success, it is back for their second year of citywide tree planting. Led by Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, the program supports Greenworks (Mayor Nutter’s city sustainability plan) and Plant One Million (Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s campaign focused on planting one million trees in southeastern PA, New Jersey, and Delaware).

TreePhilly’s Yard Tree Program grants Philadelphia Residents two trees per address to plant in their private yard. Residents must own the property where they intend to plant.
