Now that we are in full Autumn mode, here is a list of the events we are most excited about this weekend! With the pandemonium of the holidays fast approaching, take some time to enjoy our city sans stress and agendas.
Philadelphia Weekly’s Taste of Philly–
With so many different cuisines at your disposal in Philadelphia, it’s sometimes hard to decide where to go for dinner. Taste of Philly makes it easy for you. Held at the Crystal Tea Room, for $35 you can sample food and drinks from some of the best known local restaurants– all while listening to live music. Buy tickets in advance to save $5! Love Your Park Day–
Show some love for our city and participate in Love Your Park Day on November 15th. The Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation alongside the Fairmount Park Conservatory employs volunteers from across the city to help pick up leaves, debris and trash in an effort to keep our parks beautiful. Over 70 parks across the city are participating. All are welcome! November 15th

The Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Park-
The space directly in front of City Hall will be home to a brand new ice rink! It’s Philadelphia’s answer to NYC’s Rockefellar Center. Ice skating classes are offered, as well as rentals of the rink for your private events. Jose Garces’ Rosa Blanca Cafe is at your disposal whether you crave a caffeine fix or need to satisfy your hunger after skating the day or night away. Open November 14th through February 22nd.
